I didn't do much to get into BaylorFeb 06 2007Political Science
I didn't do much to get into Baylor. I applied early and heard back early. Although I did have a high gpa and good ACT score, there are people here who got in on far less. The merit based scholarship is good and its worth taking the ACT or SAT again to get a score that puts you in the highest merit based scholarship. The application process is pretty simple, I don't think anyone who has an ounce of intelligence should have any problem getting in. A person without intelligence who had rich parents who went here, shouldn't have a problem either.
ACT: 29 Female
I had a 3Jan 21 2007Chemistry
I had a 3.82 college grade point average and did not get in. It was the only school that I applied to besides my local state school. I did not have to submit my high school grades but I had a 3.9 with a 35 on my ACT. I have no idea what Baylor is looking for (if you have to donate money or what) but all I know is that Baylor is a huge rich stuck up school with a bunch almost ALL WHITE kids. I know many kids that did not get into Baylor with super high grades and test scores also. They look a lot on you as a person (community involvement, reccomendations, alumni relation, etc)...It is very hard to get into and random even if you have good grades you must be well rounded.
ACT: 34 SAT: 1530 Male

When I applied, it was fairly easy to get into. I just applied, wrote an essay and I was in.
ACT: 28 SAT: 1130 Female
Its not hard to get into Baylor, yet itJul 03 2006Physical Therapy/Exercise Science
Its not hard to get into Baylor, yet it is quite hard to stay there because it is demanding of you academically (somewhat depending on your major though)
ACT: 24 Female

See above test scores. And being Baptist by default didn't hurt... at this point, your best bet is to have enough money to pay your own way, or be very well-qualified and APPLY EARLY. Baylor has wait-listed a guy with a 1600 on his SAT for next fall (along with some others in the same range), because they've overspent on their lovely facilities, and can't afford to offer them the scholarships that their own policies obligate them to, if admitted.
